About Jamie
Jamie started her career as a handler, training and showing dogs for a breeder. After adopting an aggressive German Shepherd in 2016, she became obsessed with finding the most effective training techniques.
Jamie is also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC). She is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. She is a member of the Grisha Stewart Academy of Dog Behavior and Robert Cabral’s website, where she regularly watches videos to expand her education.

On top of her education, Jamie has been training dogs professionally for five years. She has worked with hundreds of dogs, including some severe cases of fear and aggression. She even trained a dog that was adopted from the Villalobos Rescue Center featured on Animal Planet’s Pit Bulls and Parolees.
Jamie is a balanced trainer who believes in the importance of the emotional state of the dog. Rather than relying solely on obedience, Jamie believes in teaching dogs how to work through their own emotions. This is an incredibly powerful tool with aggressive, fearful, and overly excited dogs.
